How to Prep Your Home for a Flawless Clean

To help us maximize your flat-rate service, please take a few minutes to prep your space. This allows your dedicated solo cleaner to focus 100% of their time on deep cleaning, scrubbing, and sanitizing your home!

1. Clear the Clutter

Because we bill on a flat rate rather than by the hour, we want to spend every minute scrubbing rather than organizing.

  • Surfaces & Floors: Please pick up loose toys, clothing, mail, and paperwork from kitchen counters, dining tables, and floors.
  • The Kitchen Sink: Clear dirty dishes into the dishwasher so we can get straight to sanitizing your basin. (Note: Dishwashing is an add-on service—let Holly know if you'd like to add it!)
  • Heavy Clutter: To protect your belongings, our technicians are instructed to safely skip surfaces covered in excessive clutter.

2. Smooth Access & Entry

  • Keys & Codes: Ensure your digital keypad code, garage code, or lockbox key is active and ready for use.
  • Updates: If your entry instructions have changed, please shoot a quick update to Holly at the office ahead of time.

3. Furry Friend Safety

We love your pets, but their safety and our cleaner's peace of mind are incredibly important.

  • Secure Your Pets: Please place dogs, territorial animals, or anxious pets in a crate, a secure yard, or a designated room we aren't cleaning.
  • Flight Risks: Let us know if you have an adventurous indoor cat, so we can be extra careful with exterior doors.
  • Pet Waste: For health and safety compliance, our team is strictly prohibited from handling or cleaning biological pet waste.

4. Heights & Special Requests

  • High Reach Zones: Our safety policies restrict cleaners from climbing higher than a 3-step ladder. For vaulted ceilings or high light fixtures, please leave out a high-reach tool for us to use.
  • Priority Areas: Want extra attention on a specific room? Just leave a quick note on the counter for your cleaner or notify the office!
